Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Is Now Streaming on Netflix and Hulu

One of the biggest anime theatrical hits of recent years just became much easier to watch at home. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle arrived on Netflix and Hulu on Monday, September 28, expanding its streaming availability after its record-breaking 2025 theatrical run.

The film was already available on Crunchyroll, where it began streaming on July 28 with both subtitled and dubbed options, listing Japanese and English audio alongside several other language options. Now, with its arrival on Netflix and Hulu in the United States, the movie is accessible to the vast majority of American anime fans on a platform they already subscribe to. The Infinity Castle Saga Begins

Infinity Castle picks up after the events of the Hashira Training Arc. Tanjiro Kamado and the Hashira are pulled into the Infinity Castle, the stronghold of Muzan Kibutsuji and his demons, as the final battle between the Demon Slayer Corps and the demons begins. The movie runs approximately two hours and 35 minutes.

The film was a massive box office phenomenon following its 2025 theatrical release. According to Box Office Mojo figures reported by Just Jared, Infinity Castle earned nearly $794 million worldwide, including close to $137 million in North America. The film opened to more than $70.6 million domestically during its first weekend — a staggering number for an anime release.

The Trilogy Continues

It is important to remember that this is only chapter one. Infinity Castle is the first film in a planned trilogy that will conclude the entire Demon Slayer story, adapting the final portion of Koyoharu Gotoge's manga following the end of the anime's Hashira Training Arc. A second film is currently in production, though a release date has not yet been announced — fans should settle in for a wait before the trilogy wraps up.

It then hit Crunchyroll on July 28, 2026, and went on digital sale the same day, with a Blu-ray and DVD release in Japan following on July 29. Now, more than a year after its theatrical debut, the September 28 arrival on Netflix and Hulu completes the film's home-viewing rollout.

Directed by Haruo Sotozaki — who also helmed the franchise's 2020 box office hit Mugen Train and the Demon Slayer TV series — with screenplay and production by ufotable, Infinity Castle adapts the final portion of Koyoharu Gotoge's manga. The manga itself ran in Weekly Jump from February 2016 to May 2020 across 23 volumes and has published over 200 million units. The trilogy format, confirmed in 2024, is an ambitious way to end one of the biggest anime franchises of all time — and with the first chapter now on every major streamer, the countdown to Part 2 is officially on.
