Samurai Sword is a human-devil hybrid who merged with the Katana Devil. His [grandfather](https://anilist.co/character/289198/Yakuza) was killed by [Denji](https://anilist.co/character/130102/Denji) when they initially fused with [Pochita](https://anilist.co/character/170266/Pochita), and because of that, he affiliated with the [Gun Devil](https://anilist.co/character/208942/Juu-no-Akuma) to get revenge on Denji. He works alongside [Akane Sawatari](https://anilist.co/character/174264/Akane-Sawatari) and other fellow members of the Yakuza.
